“Horrible stay”
Very filthy. Windows wouldn’t close, so mosquitoes and noise flooded in, making sleep impossible; curtains were dusty, furniture was ancient, and the toilet was old.

I love staying at this villa whenever I visit Uva. First, the jungle view lets us spot literally every popular animal: squirrels, two species of monkeys, lizards, and we counted 10 bird species, from tiny hummingbird‑like ones to long‑tailed paradise birds. Waking up to the jungle is a unique pleasure—every minute from dawn they fill with new sounds, and at night fireflies flicker. Because the villa sits on a hill, it’s very quiet and peaceful, no hustle. I truly relax here. Amenities include a full kitchen, hair dryer, internet, and the option to order breakfast and laundry. The host is very kind and always reachable for any questions. Everything was great.

A small hotel with three large, charming rooms, one family room on the road side. The other two boast a stunning jungle view. The setting is perfect—far enough from the noisy Uva town (which we didn’t like: too many tourists, not authentic at all) but close enough to walk to the beach in 15 minutes, and to Jungle Beach in 25 minutes. The owner is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place if you want peace. It’s a 20‑minute tuk‑tuk ride from Galle. Hot water, Wi‑Fi, air‑conditioning, and good bedding.

Quiet, peaceful, good bed, friendly owner; a bit dusty.

The owner is very welcoming, always checking if we needed anything. It’s a fairly quiet spot up the hill—about a 4‑minute uphill walk, a bit steep but doable. If you have mobility issues, it might not be ideal. Wi‑Fi sometimes cut out, not the best. The shower wasn’t very powerful, but overall I’d stay again.
