The location is great, and it’s been good every year. The breakfast buffet is solid. Croissants would be nice 😊

The hotel’s location is simply fantastic, right on the lake. The staff are friendly, the room was excellent and everything was very clean, the food was great… Parking is right by the hotel.

The location is truly beautiful and breathtaking. Sitting on the terrace is a place where you can stay for a long time because of the surroundings. The hotel room was very nice and a bit different from other hotels. Dinner tasted very good and tasty. Around the water you can take a nice walk. The floor creaks quite a bit in the room and also in the hallway, so as soon as someone goes to their room you hear it loud and clear. Music was playing in the morning in the restaurant and this could be heard a little in the hotel room. We had already paid for parking because it was also mentioned at check‑in and we received a card so we didn’t have to pay anything.

The staff were consistently very friendly and the room was large, clean, and tidy. The décor is more in the 90s style – certainly a matter of taste. For a quiet or idyllic weekend we would not recommend the Eifeler Seehütte. Especially on weekends it is extremely busy as a popular day‑trip spot. You should definitely reserve a table in the restaurant, otherwise you’ll barely get a seat. The food disappointed us; the menu mainly consists of simple classics like schnitzel, steak, and salad. Breakfast also feels low‑quality and mainly consists of basic standard items. Because of many external breakfast guests it is very crowded, the buffet is cramped and often not fully stocked. Overall we expected much more and were disappointed. It’s suitable for a short trip, but for a relaxed weekend we would not choose the Eifeler Seehütte again.
