“Suits not worth the cost”
A very good view of the city from above. A good variety of espresso capsules in the room. Two free water and soda bottles. A quiet room. A big room. While the location is great for viewing the city, you don’t need to spend the night here to see the views. The hotel is quite expensive but it doesn’t feel like everything was taken into consideration. For example, in our suite, the shower wasn’t high enough for me, and I’m just 175 cm tall. If you’re 180 cm tall, your head will hit the ceilings, and if you try to bring the shower head up, the water will just stop. There was also a strange odor in the lobby. The food was nice, but again, you don’t need to sleep here to eat. Our room had four beds, but for some reason we were forced to order two rooms for two adults and two kids. The elevator is extremely small so if you bring two big suitcases, you’ll have no room for yourself. The check‑in was tedious and took 15 minutes to complete. We didn’t think it was worth the money.
“Unikátní pobyt se vším všudy”
Everything about the stay felt special – the room, the breakfast, the restaurant, and especially the way the staff treated us as individuals. The manager’s personal touch was the highlight; we really felt like we were floating on clouds. The only let‑down was not being allowed to see the tower’s inner workings, like where the counterweights sit to keep it steady in strong gusts.
“Einmalig !!!!”
The location couldn’t be better and the weather was perfect, topped off by a solar eclipse that made the stay feel truly unique. We’d definitely recommend it. The only gripe was a bit of high‑brow complaining that didn’t really affect the experience.
The front desk and restaurant staff were really on top of things, making sure I was taken care of at every turn. At 83 I’m not exactly a tech whiz, but they helped me fiddle with the new gadgets on the Ještěd tower. The only thing that got a laugh was the howling wind at night – they joked it hit 95 km/h, but we got through it fine.
“Velmi dobre”
The place was fine in every way, but the mornings were a bit harsh – the blinds let the sunrise flood in and the early‑bird crowd outside the windows seemed to be smiling right at you. It’s a small annoyance that could easily be fixed, and otherwise there’s nothing really wrong.
