I liked the location and the room was very spacious and welcoming. The host was not very helpful: he knew we were arriving at a certain time, but when I reached out he was unreachable and only gave us the necessary info after more than an hour. Aside from that hiccup, the service was good.

The location is great, convenient for the centre but a bit off the main busy streets, with a good selection of cafés and restaurants nearby. Breakfast is supplied by local cafés, offering good coffee and pastries. The property has no on‑site managers, but they reply quickly. Inside, the décor feels rather gloomy, and although there’s a communal kitchen, there’s no comfortable seating.

The place was very clean, the room was large with a big bathroom, a shower, a bathtub, and a hair dryer. The kitchen was equipped with a fridge, an espresso kettle, coffee, tea, and sweet treats. The location was excellent, close to the city centre. However, there was no elevator and the narrow stairs made it hard to bring luggage up to the high second floor. I also didn’t like how the owner handled the damage issue: because the situation wasn’t clear-cut, the repair cost should have been shared with the owner, not borne by us alone. I noticed the damage in the morning, informed the owner, but he blamed it on me. It left a strong sense of displeasure.

The place scores on location, price and cleanliness. The bed was too small and hard, and the room was hot when I entered; it took several tries to figure out why the AC wouldn’t turn on, but the owner helped. I’d recommend leaving the AC on and maybe posting the temperature setting to use when you leave.
