The guesthouse feels very intimate, offers a rich traditional breakfast, and provides good value. The staff were extremely friendly, helped us navigate the city, and arranged extra services like laundry and a driver. It might be a bit farther than we expected when we booked, but that’s not a deal‑breaker.

A cozy, family‑friendly hotel in a quiet neighborhood, all rooms face the courtyard that doubles as a communal space where a tasty, generous breakfast is served. The property is thoughtfully designed and the staff are very friendly. I could safely park my motorcycle behind the gate. Nearby there are a few restaurants and small supermarkets. The city center of Yogyakarta is about 2 km away, and you can easily order a Grab‑auto or moto‑taxi for a small fare. Walking through the interesting quarter with its very friendly residents is even better. Prambanan temple is roughly 30 minutes by car, and a Grab‑taxi is very inexpensive. A very pleasant stay, highlighted by the hospitality and kindness of the hosts. I enjoyed the calm atmosphere and the rather relaxed, mature travelers. The décor invites relaxation, especially the fish pond at the entrance, which adds a lot of charm and serenity. An excellent spa and a reliable laundry are nearby. Breakfast was hearty and delicious, already offering many choices. I especially liked the buffet offered one morning: even more varied, it allowed me to sample several items in small portions. Everything went very well!

Everything about this place was fine. The only slight drawback is its location. You need to use a Grab car to go anywhere including restaurants unless you are wanting more of the local Warung experience. But this was not a big deal and the centre of town was a short Grab ride. We stayed here for three nights then another night after spending two nights at Borobudur. One night we were the only people staying and we were given a special breakfast by the very friendly staff
