Breakfast was okay, but there was no notice that the restaurant was closed – after two nights I missed dinner.

The breakfast offered a generous spread of fruit, cakes, cappuccino and fruit juices, and there was nothing to complain about.

The reception was warm, the staff always smiling, the rooms impeccably clean, and the location perfect; the evening dishes served on site were truly enjoyable, just the kind of agriturismo we love.

The setting is green and very quiet, making it easy to get to Gallipoli centre; overall pretty nice if you don’t have high expectations. The rooms are standard, poorly ventilated and very dark. Breakfast definitely needs improvement – it’s sparse for an agriturismo, repetitive every day, and mostly Eurospin brands that clash with the km0 concept of the restaurant. The salty breakfast is almost non‑existent; adding eggs instead of packaged cold cuts would be healthier and more in line with homemade cooking. Finally, the olive oil served at dinner was a supermarket brand – Italian oil, but for a km0 agriturismo in Puglia we expect something different.
