“Gibt es hier auch Personal ???”
The reception was unoccupied throughout our entire stay. We had to call partner hotels for two hours before finally receiving our room keys.

The location suited our needs. The property was in dire need of renovation; the check‑in code arrived very late, and the door had no proper lock, only a single‑sided one.

The location was great, with many shops right across the street and a tram stop nearby, yet the hotel itself was in the back row, so we had plenty of quiet. Rooms lacked refrigerators and there was no breakfast; guests had to bring their own cutlery, plates, and food. However, we could use the breakfast room with a terrace.

Only the location is acceptable. I was extremely disappointed and the hotel is far from how it’s presented on its own website. The breakfast buffet, pool, and spa are unavailable. The photos shown, especially of the exterior, no longer match the current state. The whole property looks dusty and neglected, suggesting it’s rarely cleaned. Our room, particularly the shower, was in an unacceptably unhygienic condition. The glass front door is damaged or broken and often won’t open. Staff are present but don’t act as points of contact. We have received no response to our detailed complaint. We stayed here three years ago and could see the clear decline. Overall, a very disappointing stay, and we cannot recommend this hotel due to its condition and the large discrepancies from its portrayal.

The location is stellar and the free coffee and water are great. The only employee there did his best and was very friendly, as was the cleaning lady, though she didn’t speak German or English and we had to use her phone’s translate app. I booked single room #16 and DO NOT BOOK!! There was black mold in the shower, the shower curtain was moldy and severely dirty, and what used to be an enclosed shower with a sliding door now has a curtain attached to a rod above the pre‑existing door frame. The TV didn’t work, the private balcony was accessible to other guests, the nightstand light was broken, the headboard of the bed was severely worn, there were cobwebs above the bed, water stains on the ceiling, no fan or ventilator (and it was a heat wave), and there was no direct help or conversation from the owner about these major issues. An employee from the owner told me that because I didn’t pay much, I shouldn’t expect much! But there are no room or comfort categories to choose from, only the number of beds. So if you pay less than $50, expect the worst room! I stayed here last year and had the perfect room: room #1. Even though the guest staying there while I was there mentioned that the TV stopped working after 5 minutes of use! This property changed management since summer 2025 and has severely gone downhill! NO swimming pool, NO sauna! NO breakfast offered, even though it is mentioned in the welcome email/message once you check‑in! A family arrived late at night and had booked an adjoining room only to find guests already staying in one of the rooms; they had to split the family until resolved! My stay was certainly NOT the only issue!
