The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast was great, but I’m tall, so the shower wasn’t tall enough and I had to stand away from the shower head.

It was convenient for the area I wanted to be in, had parking, and the price was good; nothing else to complain about, it was very nice for the cost.

The room was spacious and cozy, featuring a 4‑poster bed, and the breakfast was hot and freshly cooked. I had a pleasant stay and felt it offered great value for money. It’s only a 10‑minute drive to the city centre, and on the second day we used the bus, which stops just over the road a few minutes’ walk away, running every 15 minutes.

The location was very convenient and the decor was generally good, period, and breakfast was flawless. Parking facilities were adequate. However, there were no tea or coffee supplies in the room even though they were listed as standard, and no one was available to provide them in the evening. The cold water tap in the bathroom was loose and kept running; it couldn’t be fully turned off.

There was nothing positive to mention; they refused to give a refund even after a death in the wedding party and we had provided sufficient notice. They were unwilling to compromise.
