The price‑quality ratio is good, the room and bathroom are spacious and new, and the hotel is near the center, reachable by tram; the lobby, entrance, and elevator reflect the age of the old building, yet the floor is fully renovated, new and modern. It’s complicated if you have a car, because you must park there as the whole area is limited to 2 hours; the breakfast is very tight with few options.

The breakfast was tasty, typical for Croatia, and the hotel sits in beautiful downtown Zagreb, just 7 min from the main square; hostess Zdravka was polite, helpful, and very kind.

The accommodation offers self‑check‑in. They sent me instructions, and I contacted the place beforehand with my arrival time. Once there, I was supposed to take the keys from a lockbox at the main entrance, but when we opened the box the keys were missing; despite calling and writing, they only said they were sure the keys weren’t there and stopped answering. We had to find another hotel around midnight. The service was awful. Nothing I liked; I couldn’t enter the hotel because they didn’t leave the keys for entry and didn’t resolve the situation.
