The hostel manager was genuinely friendly and seemed to really care about the guests. I liked the little hallway that opens onto the garden – it felt cozy and quiet. The showers were surprisingly good, hot and strong.

The room had a tiny TV, but they gave us extra blankets which helped with the chill. We paid for breakfast yet never got it on either day because nobody told us it wouldn't be served. On top of that, cold air kept sneaking in through a badly sealed door and windows, so the room stayed drafty.
