The accommodation was modern, clean, tastefully furnished, and the view was pleasant with scenic windows. However, there were no adequate dishes, no oil, salt, pepper, or glasses, and no table or chairs for dining. The stairs to the bedroom, appreciated by the famous climber Manolo, were a drawback. It looked great but was impractical for living.

The staff were kind and responded quickly to a problem we had. The accommodation is clean and recently renovated, but it’s very small and not suitable for everyone because of a steep staircase leading to the loft where the bed is. There’s no way to cook or eat inside, and only one bar/restaurant is available on the premises.

We could not have asked for more! The cabins were cozy, clean, and very beautiful, and the views of the ocean and mountains were unbeatable. The staff were amazing, friendly, and welcoming, especially Vicky who made our stay unforgettable. The food at the hotel restaurant HEIM was top notch, and my partner, an experienced professional chef, was very impressed; the view from the restaurant was unbeatable too. Be sure to book the sauna as well—it’s quite an experience. All in all, a perfect stay that I would return to in a heartbeat! Thank you to Hemmingodden Lodge and Vicky for making our stay very special. The only downside was that we had to leave.

Location and facilities were good, but the bedroom situation was not ideal; we would have liked it to be more accessible.

The bed was fairly comfortable and the cabin was warm, with a coffee machine and a mini‑fridge, which was decent for a one‑night stay. However, the photos did not match reality—the cabin is terribly small. When the pull‑out bed on the ground floor is unfolded, there is zero space left, and climbing up to the loft level is quite awkward. No extra sheets were provided and towels were sparse. The toilet is partitioned off only by glass, which I genuinely do not understand the design logic for; plenty of people travel with friends, and nobody wants to smell someone else's feces, listen to farting, or catch a glimpse of someone's genitals.
