The price was very reasonable, but the room lacked a faucet, toilet, and hair dryer.

The property feels brand‑new, spotless and well‑maintained, and it was a pleasant surprise to find a refrigerator inside the guesthouse room, which is rare. The only downsides were the cumbersome facial‑recognition check‑in process and the steep staircase leading up to the second‑floor rooms.

The surrounding town stayed quiet, and with a car or motorbike the hot springs were just a short ride away; the bed and mattress were so comfortable I slept very well. The only minor drawback was that the nearest convenience store was a little far, and many local eateries were closed for the Obon holiday, which is understandable.
