breakfast is always superb, with staff more than willing to make one‘s breakfast experience a wonderful one. Hmmm, I really can’t think of anything. The staff, Reception with Lisa and her winning smile, and warm charisma, Graham with his great tips on places of interest in the area, plus the rest of the front desk team, then the food, the eating areas - one large area for breakfast, which is,incidentally, definitely not to be missed. Steve and Martin, „the two twins“ have provided consistent and excellent service down the years at West Lodge Park, breakfast would not be the same without them, and their colleagues as well in the breakfast area. Visiting the restaurant in the evening should not be missed. The fare is truly excellent. In addition, the hotel hosts many events during the entire year. I don't know how they manage to oversee all these various events in and around their private dining rooms. I have never felt neglected. And of course, last but not least, the large tiled patio with its sun umbrellas and the magnificent gardens behind with its many trees from all over the world

The hotel was pretty, with lovely grounds and the staff were friendly. The rooms were nice, and breakfast was amazing—except for the bacon, which was chewy and inedible, a real let‑down. The room stayed hot all the time; two fans helped a bit, but better cooling would be nice. It gets pretty busy with events, so it can get noisy.

The room was roomy and had a courtyard. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Lisa at reception who was extremely welcoming, which was great after a long drive. The grounds were exceptional. The bathroom was large and had everything you could need, but it looked tired and could use an update.
