Nestled at Mount Snowdon’s base, The Lake View Hotel in Llanberis offers woodland‑surrounded rooms, many with Lake Padarn vistas and forest outlooks. Each room features a TV and private bathroom, while complimentary tea, coffee and water are provided in the lounge. Located 15 minutes from Caernarfon’s Blue‑Flag beach and castle, and 13 miles from Caernarfon Airport’s aviation museum and pleasure flights.

Amy and James are excellent hosts. The porridge at breakfast was superb, as was the fully cooked breakfast. The bedroom was clean and the bed very comfy. They offered two lounges for guests: one with a log burner and tea/coffee, the other with very comfy sofas. Overall, an excellent stay that I would definitely recommend. They were both very knowledgeable about the area, and everything was perfect.

The hotel feels like a small family run place where everyone goes out of their way to meet guests' needs; the rooms are comfortable, breakfast is great, and it’s well connected to the local area.

The room was lovely, spotless, and the bed was comfortable; hosts Amy and James were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and the eggs were cooked just how we liked them, and the downstairs guest area was cozy—nothing could fault our stay.

There’s a cozy lounge area with free coffee and tea for relaxing, and the host was super friendly and helpful. The double bed could have been larger, and at night it wasn’t possible to open a window for ventilation because of the location on a fairly busy through‑road.
