A good choice in Atacama: the bed was comfortable, the staff very helpful—especially Mr. Arnaldo—and the hotel/pousada has a characteristic Atacama style with great value. It’s about a 15‑minute walk from Caracoles, which is fine for those who don’t mind, and the town itself is quiet with no problems. The hotel is simple, so we expected a more rustic environment; the only drawback was the small bathroom/box, which is still adequate for a shower.

The staff were lovely, breakfast was great, and the courtyard was sunny. The place is a bit far from the main town and the bathroom is very small.

The spot is spot‑on – quiet neighbourhood, solid breakfast and staff that actually smile. The only hiccup was the Wi‑Fi in the room, which was spotty; the lobby signal was fine, so I had to keep hopping over there for a decent connection.
