Hospitality and quick service from Bruno, the inn is modest but comfortable and well‑located, breakfast is also very good. No complaints.

The location was great and breakfast was wonderful. Bruno and his wife welcomed us with a lot of kindness, courtesy, and were always ready to help with anything we needed. The setting is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable.

Pousada Canarinho exceeded our expectations. It feels like home, the room is comfortable, the bed is excellent, the shower is good, the blackout curtains work very well, and the breakfast is very mineiro, full of delicious pastries (I already want to try the orange one again!). Bruno, the host, handled us from the moment of booking, even helping us sort out matters before we arrived. We woke up to the canaries, which made everything even better. We will definitely come back! Nothing in the lodge disappointed us. The only thing I might add is an egg option at breakfast, maybe scrambled eggs. I never asked Bruno if that was possible, perhaps it was and I just didn’t find out. I don’t drink coffee, but he always had hot water ready so I could make tea right when I arrived for breakfast, so they are very attentive. It’s definitely worth a visit.
