We ate very well and affordably at the restaurant, but it’s not part of the hotel. Hotel staff were friendly. I had the large family room with a huge bed and balcony, but the room itself was very minimalistic and clinical—just a mirror on the wall. The location is beautiful overlooking the Taag, but it’s next to a municipal pool that looks like a garbage dump. The front faces a huge stinky paper factory, and the smell is constant when the wind blows toward the hotel. Breakfast was subpar, thin, cold scrambled eggs in plastic bowls.

The room was spacious, nice, and comfortable, and the restaurant had excellent food, but the breakfast was lacking.

The location was perfect for what we wanted, very quiet with a stunning view, and dinner at the hotel was great; the staff were very attentive and helpful, so we’ll definitely come back. The only downside was the absence of a small table on the balcony where we could have set our coffee, water, or juice.

The place is a spectacle, and the night‑time front‑desk staff are very professional. The only hard thing to fix was the view of the cellulose.
