The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and the restaurant food was good, yet the breakfast was below average—no hot options, only toast, and the offerings were very basic.

The location was perfect for visiting Onnen Studios just outside the village of Llandeilo, with off‑road parking; Alex, who checked us in, was also the barman in a very busy pub with a restaurant, but he was polite and friendly and showed us to our room, and despite most tables being reserved for dinner he still found time to reserve one for us; after settling into our very large room with an en‑suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities with a kettle, we went to the busy restaurant where we were served by Jasmin, who was again polite and welcoming; on the following morning after breakfast, it would have been better to have a drop box to leave the room key, as it took a while to find a staff member to take it.
