“Nettes Hotel”
Nice and practical hotel for a few days' stay. The surrounding area is quiet, but public transport connections are good.
The room was close to the university, had a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure. Unfortunately, the air‑conditioning was in very poor condition, making a week in 35‑degree Milan difficult. The room was advertised as having air‑conditioning, but a fan would have been a more accurate description; I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the summer.

Still, the jam came in single‑use industrial pots, only white bread (pancarré) and one kind of roll were offered, and there was no unsweetened yogurt. The building feels old, and the many stairs—especially the ones leading to the front desk—make it tough for an 86‑year‑old guest.
