The spot was nice, far from city noise, yet the staff forgot to smile; only the reception lady and the restaurant lady offered a pleasant grin.

Munro Island is the best spot for families; the food was tasty, the villas were well‑maintained, and I recommend it for family, food safety, and hygiene. The adult pool lacked a kids’ pool, which was under maintenance when we came, and the boating fees were double.

The resort is excellently located and beautifully designed, offering a calm, relaxing vibe that could become a top scenic spot in South Kerala if fully leveraged; staff behaved well and professionalism could be slightly higher. We’ll definitely return. Improvements: 1) No routine activities, property details, or welcome drink at arrival. 2) Breakfast options were tasty but limited. 3) Children’s park rides were slightly damaged or non‑functional, and there was no common pool. 4) Bathroom locks were broken. 5) An indoor common play or recreation area would be nice, especially during rain.

The place is great, with a nice lake view and very friendly staff; Dhanush and the two reception girls were extremely helpful, and every meal—breakfast, lunch, dinner—was delicious.
