The high‑floor rooms offer an exceptional location and view, and having both a beach and two pools—including a “no‑kids” pool—is very pleasant. The staff at Gourmandise are professional and genuinely friendly. However, the cosmopolitan clientele would benefit from a changing and shower area, especially for those with late European flights; it would be helpful to change and shower before heading to the airport. Also, the rooms need renovation as they’re starting to show wear.

The window view is beautiful, the suite is luxurious, the lobby is well decorated, the restaurant tasty, and the beach service wonderful—white towels on the sand are impressive, and the sea was almost free of algae 😊. Bicycle rentals are excellent, and the breakfasts are delicious with a buffet. Yet, at European standards it’s pricey—$60. You could also grab breakfast at the shop across the street, a luxury boutique, and great restaurants, including Italian. On the downside, the mattress is too soft and uncomfortable, the reception tried to charge a service fee twice, adding about $71 per night—check your booking to see if you paid the full package and ask to cancel that charge. If you leave items on a lounge chair for over 40 minutes, they’ll be moved to lost‑and‑found; contact the manager and they’ll retrieve them, though it’s not quick. Overall, more positives than negatives.

Everything was great, 10 points, the staff service was excellent. The price for the spa/massage was very high.

“Foi curta mas aproveitamos bastante!”

The hotel’s location is spot‑on—great beach and solid infrastructure, and the staff are super friendly and attentive. The room is spacious and well equipped, but it really needs an urgent makeover; the wallpaper, fabrics, flooring and accessories are all very old and outdated.
