The hotel is fairly close to the National Mall and easy to reach via Metro, though the hotel offers its own shuttle to the airport and another to the Metro, but the drivers seem to run on their own schedule. The shuttle service is untimely for both airport and Metro routes, which was frustrating. The staff were okay but not the most attentive I've met.

Renaissance Hotel is our 1st selection among hotel selections whenever we travel.domestically and international!! Congrats for your consistency!!. We didn't like the superior comfort of our bed and feathered down pillows.it's a disappointing checkout experience ;)!

The bed was comfy, the room stayed clean, it was quiet and the staff were kind, plus the restaurant was good. The only gripe was that turning on the shower left me soaked because it’s opposite the door.

My flight got delayed right when I was trying to leave this morning, so I asked for a new key and the desk guy seemed annoyed. The key he handed me didn’t work, I went down to get it fixed twice and he was even more irritated. The hallway floors were littered with trash and the outside terrace had patio sets falling apart. The location is the only decent thing unless you enjoy staying at overpriced days inn.
