“Pas de chance....”

The staff were friendly and gave me a welcome beer upon arrival. The kitchen was available for cooking, with a kettle and water. There was a clothes line to dry clothes. The host apologized for the noise from other guests and the ants, but did nothing. They used insecticide, changed my room, and apologized. Red ants were present in the room, especially on the bed sheets, and they bit me – unbearable. I reported it in the morning, they apologized and moved me to another room. Ants were still present, but not on the sheets. No duvet in the second room (we noticed at 1 a.m.), which was not cool after dealing with the ants. Other guests made noise until after 3 a.m., drinking beer and shouting – the host made no complaint and let it continue. My passport was taken at the entrance. The air conditioning was not very effective given the heat.

“Wir kommen gerne wieder !”

It was a guesthouse, not a hotel. After five years I came back and the owner and his wife recognized us again – the joy was great on both sides, because most people say they’ll come back, we did it! And we didn’t regret it. We were welcomed like family members who hadn’t been there for a few years. The next day we were invited to lunch by the family; it was amazing – shrimp, fish, beef, poultry, vegetables, etc. A welcome at the highest level. Vietnam is one of the few Southeast Asian countries still suffering from the aftereffects of COVID, and the people deserve tourists to return. The friendliness, willingness to help, and warmth of this family are extraordinary and deserve support. Now about the accommodation. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained, with AC, a fridge, a fan, hot water, and good internet. Shops, beach, and restaurants are nearby; otherwise, a taxi for €1.50 to Dong Vui Food Court about 1.7 km is recommended. A dream for all friends of Asian, Indian cuisine and everything the sea offers. That’s it, you can experience everything else yourself. PS: Great old‑school guesthouse atmosphere, wonderful people there, in the evenings you sit together at a big table. The son and daughter‑in‑law run a restaurant and a laundry on the street front, which I highly recommend. Breakfast starts at €1.20 and various other dishes for a small price and tasty. A big beer with an ice‑cold glass for €0.80. … We’ll come back!!!
