First off, the family is incredibly sweet, and the young host, Kalahari, welcomed us with a delicious mango juice. The house itself is family‑owned, with the second floor available for rent, and there are only three rooms: a basic double bed, a shower, a toilet, and a tiny bedside table—nothing else. There’s a small table near the entrance for tea and a modest kitchenette with all the essentials for a modest guest. The host is always reachable, checks in about cleaning, and is friendly. The guesthouse is named after the eldest boy, who loves fish, so there are two aquariums in the yard—one with large fish and one with small ones—he knows them by name. The place is a one‑minute walk from the main road, in a quiet spot, and you can walk to the nearest beach in five minutes. The area is very busy, especially in February, with many tourists, cafés, and shops.

We enjoyed a lovely stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful, even offering us a mango juice. The room was clean and had a nice little balcony. The location was fantastic—close to the beach but off the main road, with easy access to restaurants, the beach, and massages. We were very happy overall. On the morning of our checkout, we went on a whale tour, and the lady who manages the place kindly looked after our bags at no extra cost, which we appreciated a lot. The only issue was that the bathroom door lock didn’t work, but it was a minor thing, otherwise everything was great!

Great place, close to the beach yet far enough from the noisy street. The hosts were excellent and the value for money was outstanding.

Lovely owners and a very clean room. The location is a bit far from the main road and it gets dark if you’re walking back during the night or evening. The room is a little small, but it’s fine for one or two nights.
