The location is on the beach.

The location was fantastic. I loved being able to walk to the beach, return to the room, and then head back to the beach. Morning coffee was great, just down the stairs. We loved the balcony deck overlooking the pool and ocean. The train at 4:30 am was a surprise; I had no control over that.

The room was spotless and comfy; even with the motel busy, nighttime noise was minimal. The staff were warm and friendly, the beach was easy to reach, the pool gleamed, and the office coffee in the morning was tasty. I’ve stayed at the Edgewater many times and it never lets me down. The parking lot is cramped and hard to fit a large SUV or pickup; I’d bring a smaller car if possible to avoid the hassle. It only bothered me for a few minutes each day, and I still recommend the Edgewater.
