The location, comfortable beds and the room's spaciousness are positives. The room needs some maintenance; with a few extra touches it could be perfect. External pipes that are useless, outlets crushed by beds and USB sockets not connected to power. Spacious areas but not fully utilized.

The hotel is located in a part of a recently renovated Rocca Sanvitale fortress. There is ample parking on Piazza Gramsci and it is nice to walk around the complex and the park. The rooms are quietly situated by the courtyard. The room is spacious. The bathroom is tidy. Breakfast is well taken care of by the lady from Sri Lanka. The breakfast room is a bit cramped. When we were there it was also noisy because staff were also coming to eat. That was unfortunate and also stressful for the kitchen staff.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and the hotel sits in a prime spot to enjoy Parma’s surroundings and its renowned products like Salame Felino IGP, Prosciutto di Parma DOP and Parmigiano Reggiano DOP. The rooms are spacious. Nothing to complain about.
