A beautiful and convenient base for exploring the area around Lake Mývatn, with lovely little lounges on each floor, especially the one with a fireplace next to the bar. Breakfast was great and they could arrange aurora‑borealis viewings on request. The sink was a little small, but it fits the Icelandic style.
