The host was friendly, the location brilliant, and the breakfast freshly cooked. Nothing really stood out otherwise, but be aware the property is old and sits on a hillside, so rooms are small and you’ll have to deal with slopes and steps. If you’re older with weak knees, it might not suit you.

This guest house is exceptional. The Quay side location is ideal, the owners are very friendly, and the breakfasts are unbeatable—fantastic. Rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. There’s nothing you can’t like.

The breakfast was delicious and the location remarkable. However, the room was tiny and very simple, the bed was also small, and the bathroom was tiny with no window. For the price, we expected much more comfort.

The breakfast blew me away—enough to skip meals all day—and while the room and bath were a bit tight, they were fine for a short break; Liz and Colin were friendly and packed us with useful tips, plus we even had a dedicated parking spot.
