The neighborhood feels scary, the room smelled bad and the ceiling was full of moisture. I didn’t stay here; I had to pay for another hotel. This place should offer refunds.

The air conditioner worked fine. The listing promised a refrigerator, but there was none, and roaches were present. The room looked rundown, with a rusty pipe in the wall, a rusty trash can in the restroom, and only a toilet seat at the top. Stairs not mentioned could trouble those with heart issues or disabilities. The area seemed unsafe, with many homeless people and squatters, and noise from downstairs. A broken wall added to the discomfort. If you bring a friend, you’ll be charged $11; stains on sheets cost $18. They give one toilet roll, and slippers are not included—they’re an extra fee. The photos are old and don’t reflect the current state. I’m not happy at all; it feels like a scam. I only have three pictures to share.

There wasn’t much to like about this spot. The pictures, while mostly accurate at the time, don’t show everything. The shiny floor and décor hide the real condition. The location is in a slummy area, and the entrance looks like a poorly kept garage. As soon as we started climbing the stairs, a big roach appeared. The unit had a strong pesticide smell. When I booked, the listing claimed a refrigerator and four beds, but none were present. We stayed less than 30 minutes while I tried to find another place. The owner suggested I might have booked the wrong place, though the listing was later corrected. She denied ever listing a fridge. I received a refund for two of the three days’ price, but losing even a day’s fee is a severe understatement. Anyone booking should check the street view on Google Maps first. Beware!
