“Super friendly family-run hotel”
The hotel was super clean and family‑run, with staff who were very friendly and helpful, and its location was great for shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, and we appreciated that we weren’t bothered, but could request anything we needed and it would be delivered, like extra milk and towels. A country‑music event took place while we were there, but once we left we couldn’t hear the music in our room, which overlooked the green at the front, and we also didn’t hear the funfair on the green. We had breakfast and dinner at the inn, and all the meals were delicious. We were pleasantly surprised at how good it was for a three‑star hotel.
