The overall vibe was satisfying, the public area is great with many cute little touches in the corners, but the soundproofing could be better—talk from the next room is a bit audible.

The location is a quiet spot amid the bustle, right behind Hengchun Old Street and not far from the South Gate; the back door connects to a café. The old house renovation with cat-themed items shows the owner's taste and thoughtfulness. The shower and bedroom are separate, so sleep is less disturbed. However, the bed curtains are not very private, and the outlet is outside the bed without a shelf, so watch your items to avoid dropping them.

The homestay is well decorated, the mattress is very comfortable and the value is decent. The bathroom door has a large gap at the bottom and top, which could raise safety and privacy concerns. The small lamp inside the bed is slightly bright, cannot adjust the brightness, and when you tilt it, it keeps sliding down and cannot stay fixed.
