“It was OK for one night”

I had a mixed experience during my stay at this hotel. The staff at the front desk and security were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel at ease right from the start. However, my experience with the restaurant staff was somewhat disappointing, as they didn't quite live up to the same level of hospitality. To make matters worse, I encountered a rather inconvenient issue with the plumbing in my room, as there was no running water available.

“I’ll stay again but I won’t bother to pay more for a suit, they don’t know the difference”

The location and rooftop are nice, and the staff are kind. However, water drips from the toilet seat, insects and geckos appear in the bathroom, the sink is clogged, and every morning at 7 am the staff come to announce breakfast, disturbing everyone’s sleep. The room advertised as a suite with multiple beds actually has two beds in a regular room, and the discount offered was minimal. Music blares in the hallway 24/7. Reception and kitchen staff sleep in the building without proper quarters or rooms at night. The bed is extremely firm and uncomfortable, and the room was designed by a man whose work would be considered 2‑star in Lagos or Western society.

“Clean Hotel”

My stay at this hotel was a pleasant one, with the building itself being spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The staff were also friendly and accommodating, which added to the overall positive atmosphere of the hotel. While there wasn't much to complain about, I did find it a bit surprising that there wasn't anything significant to mention as a negative point.

During my stay at this hotel, I was struck by the warm and friendly demeanor of the staff, who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. However, I did find the location to be somewhat isolated, with not much in the immediate vicinity. Fortunately, I was able to get around easily using moto taxis, which made up for the lack of local amenities.
