The food was delicious, everything was very polite, they cleaned the entrance of bugs which was a big help, and the cycling tour offered stunning scenery.
I had a great stay here, the food was amazing and my room was clean and stylish. They had a nice welcome drink and dessert, and at night the lounge had booze available, plus there were drinks and tea in the fridge. But getting here was a bit of a challenge - the tunnel you have to drive through is super scary, and it's apparently closed at night, so the location isn't great.
I came here for a ski trip and it was just what I needed - the place is super quiet and surrounded by nature, and the staff were really friendly. The breakfast and dinner were both delicious, and my room had free drinks and snacks, plus really nice toiletries and bedding. The only thing to watch out for is that it's in the middle of nowhere, so there are a few bugs around - but the staff are on top of it, so it's no big deal.

Excellent food and facilities, stunning surroundings, very friendly staff, I would choose this over Nikko every time—just check the road conditions first. They also have a shuttle bus service, and everything is thought through, including thermos mugs in the rooms for a relaxing morning stroll after breakfast.

Everything about this place was top class - the location, staff, food, and rooms all combined for an amazing getaway. I even got to see the stars at night, which was incredible. My only minor gripe was that checking in was a bit confusing, but that was it.
