The design and Japanese vibe were spot on, making the stay feel authentic and pretty. The rooms were a bit cramped, the air got stuffy at night, and there was no way to open the windows.

I really appreciated the staff, the room, and the sleeping arrangements. The bathroom door tends to close on its own, which can trap moisture; that’s why mold‑like growth appeared on the walls. We didn’t bring it up while we were there, but we wanted to point it out afterward.

The location was okay and the staff were friendly enough to refund us. But our room was infested with huge cockroaches! My wife and I had to leave in the middle of the night to find another hotel. The building is very old and has a strange odor.

We were given an excellent room with a separate bedroom and a living room that’s great to enter; the layout was very well thought out and it looked clean. However, we spotted a giant cockroach next to the bed in the morning.
