The staff were kind and courteous. The walls were thin, and even during the day the room was dark. The shared space was cramped, and it was really noisy when people stayed out late. Even before lights were turned off, a guest who had turned the lights off complained when I simply turned them on a little.

People were nice, even though they were mostly older. The first room was incredibly smelly; I asked to be moved to another room and the staff were nice but didn’t give me a room next to a 70‑year‑old Japanese man. I’m sorry to say this, but it was the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at and I had to book an Airbnb at midnight because I couldn’t stand the smell in the first room, and the second room had a Japanese man who was masturbating under my bed. Additionally, they didn’t want to wait for me at all, even partially. The room was so small I couldn’t bring in half of my luggage and had to keep it outside. Sorry, but this gets a 2/10.
