The room was spacious and clean, the balcony was great, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was good, but compared to other places in Sri Lanka it feels a bit pricey.

The London Palace is a solid choice for staying in Anuradhapura, giving a good base for exploring the ancient city and nearby towns; Sudath always ensured I had a good time and arranged a fantastic tuk‑tuk driver, so ask for Siga if you want to tour all the sights by tuk‑tuk; the rooms are nice, the balconies especially shine, and the breakfast is tasty.

The staff were super cordial and kind, the room was comfortable, clean, and spacious with a nice little balcony; breakfast was good; the bed had a mosquito net. The only downside is that there’s no shower gel or shampoo, so bring or buy them beforehand.
