The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. They served a great individual guest breakfast that was freshly baked/made. We liked the location and it’s historical significance. The one challenge for us was the stairs. If we had known about the steepness and the lacking handrail on the wall side of the stairs, we probably wouldn’t have booked the room. However, we were able to work around the challenges of the stairs and happy we booked the room

Galena and screwed me out of 900.00 charged 2 mos. In advance Of when I was to stay, even though I went through the Galena website, and they Put me thru to booking after my card info Was entered and they took the money in seconds. I will add all info to Facebook Instagram and social media, you are bad you screwed me. The people the place the thieves

The character, history and original furnishings Good breakfasts. Excellent and essential air conditioning Comfortable bed. Requiring further updating without losing original Victorian feel. Cleanliness of bathroom carpets and shower in need of maintenance Tv not easy to manage with poor reliability

We booked the General Suite, which turned out to be spacious and lovely, and the breakfasts were very good, but there are a lot of stairs to reach downtown.
