I was thoroughly unimpressed with this place. The moment I stepped inside, I knew I wasn't going to be staying here. The state of the room was absolutely disgusting - I mean, it was basically uninhabitable. Needless to say, I checked out immediately.

The hotel's location near the shopping mall was a definite plus, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, and the mini bar and kettle in the room were nice touches. However, the bathroom was a bit of a disaster - the shower was like walking into a swimming pool, and the faucet was dirty. To make matters worse, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, despite being a no-smoking room.

I'm still trying to process how bad this hotel was. The moment we walked in, we knew we had to get out as fast as possible. The place was infested with humidity, had a terrible smell, and was just plain unsanitary. We asked for a refund and were lucky to get our money back, it was a total scam. The photos online were completely misleading.

The rooms here were clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The hotel seemed to have gotten the basics right, and I didn't encounter any major issues during my visit.

The hotel's proximity to Galle road and the shopping area was a big plus, but unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The electric kettle was a nice touch, but there was no socket to plug it in, and there were no cups or spoons provided. The room was also incredibly dusty, and the Wi-Fi was painfully slow. To top it all off, I found cockroaches in the room and a bunch of ants on the bed and in the toilet.
