“All and all a great time and just love the setting with beautifull natural surroundings.”

The setting and views were spectacular, but the fridge was too small for a self‑catering stay, and there wasn’t enough cupboard or shelf space to store all the food and supplies.

“Wonderful restful stop over and perfect end to our holiday”

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel, enjoying the serene atmosphere and breathtaking views of the Gariep dam. The location was private and peaceful, making it an ideal getaway. I felt completely relaxed and disconnected from the hustle and bustle of city life. The scenery was simply stunning, and I cherished every moment spent here.

“Food for the Soul. Loved the openness of the Karoo and starry nights”

I recently stayed in one of the three units at this hotel and was impressed by the spacious and well-appointed accommodations. The Olienhout unit had everything I needed, and I enjoyed spending time outdoors, having a braai, and taking in the beautiful views. Although it's a bit off the beaten path, connecting Gauteng and the Western Cape, it was well worth the extra travel time. I would recommend staying for more than one night to truly unwind.
