The hotel is very pretty and well thought out. The only downside was that there was no fridge in the room, though one was available in the lobby, and otherwise everything was fine.

The hotel’s décor is a 1930s style mixed with a touch of modern flair. The breakfast was lavish but not very varied, and eggs were prepared fresh when requested.

The house is lovingly furnished, so we felt at home right away. The room was very comfortable, and we appreciated the quiet setting and lovely garden. The staff were kind and attentive. Minor points included a pillow that was too soft and a lack of hooks in the bathroom, but those were just small criticisms and overall the stay was great.
