Breakfast is provided; staff speak German, Greek, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese. Hiking trails surround the property, near Rohrschollen Reserve, Ruhestein Ski Jump, Mummelsee and Alpirsbach Abbey.

The staff were very friendly and flexible, and the breakfast was very good.

The property was beautiful and clean, managed by a welcoming host family; the room was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped, the modern bathroom had fantastic water pressure, and a kitchen was available for use. The drinks system was well stocked, recorded consumption, and allowed payment at checkout. Breakfast was outstanding, featuring fresh fruit, a homemade herbal drink, breads, meats, cheeses, eggs, and more, and the hosts kindly encouraged us to take leftovers for lunch on our Westweg hike. However, while walking the Westweg, it was a bit far from places for dinner, which wouldn’t bother anyone with a car.
