“Not worth it”
Good location but some sketchy people were sitting right outside. The room was so dated and dirty it smelled funny and the sheets look like they haven’t been replaced in 50 years

Auberge Gaglioti sits just steps from Luxembourg’s main train station and the bustling Avenue de la Gare, offering free Wi‑Fi and a spacious, private‑bathroom room. The on‑site Trattoria dei Quattro serves homemade pizza and regional specialties, while nearby museums, shops, and restaurants lie within a ten‑minute walk to the historic city centre.

The place is close to the main station, which was a big plus.

The communication before and during the stay was solid, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and smiling. We stayed in apartment 22, which was spacious and had a bathroom. The street outside the hostel gets noisy at night because of people, and there are no elevators.

The location is great, the price is superb, and the service is very helpful.

The location is right next to the station. The hotel is very old, lacks an elevator, and definitely doesn’t meet current safety standards; I can’t imagine how evacuation would work in a fire. The bedding is from another era, I woke up stiff because the mattress is hard and the pillows offer no support. The bathroom is tiny and poses an electrical hazard: a power outlet sits about 30 cm from the sink tap, and the shower head is limescale‑covered. The carpet is worn and stiff. There’s nothing comfortable in this under‑equipped room, and the hotel is grossly overpriced. It deserves no more than 2 or 3 stars. It was a disastrous experience; I urge you to avoid it.
