The rooms were nice. Breakfast was included and ran until 10 am. We arrived at 9:40 and were told that the chef no longer wanted to cook.

The water in the shower was warm and the air conditioning was cool. The staff were friendly and helpful, letting us choose whether we wanted a ground‑floor or first‑floor room. The room was spacious with plenty of room to put things. Free bottles of water were refilled after the first night. We were shocked by the recent reviews that mentioned it might be dirty, so we were pleasantly surprised when we checked in and everything looked clean. In the night there was a lot of noise at the reception, which was next to our room. The beds were quite hard, and you could feel the wires through them. Water in the shower drain rose when you turned on the sink tap. Breakfast times were not mentioned at check‑in. The free shuttle bus was broken, so we had to call a taxi for 150.000rp.

I liked the hot shower with good pressure and the spacious room. The hotel offered free breakfast of nasi goreng or toasted sandwich, and other meals had to be paid for if needed. The staff were friendly and courteous, trying to learn English—just use Google Translate. A short walk to the beach gave great sunsets. The Warung at the start of the street to the hotel is great and cheap! The directions to the hotel were confusing and the address needed fixing. The hotel was 5km from the city, but hiring a scooter or getting a grab bike at 20000 rph solved that.
