The room surpassed the photos on their website. We had floor‑to‑ceiling windows with a full view of the Hudson River and waterfront area. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. All the drapes were electrically powered, and the room featured various lighting options, all controlled by dimmers. Just around the corner from the hotel was an incredible Italian restaurant, Che Figata Italian Bistro. The service was excellent and the food exceptional. Highly recommended. The room had an air‑conditioning thermostat that would shut off when it detected no motion. This happened while we were in bed, so we always brought a portable fan and taped a post‑it over the sensor to keep the thermostat sensing motion. Not having full control of the AC unit in the room is a big thumbs down for us.

Amazing room, huge, spacious, pleasant, clean… one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed in. There were water pipes in the room that made noise, but fortunately it stopped that night.

Great Hotel. Awesome room and bathroom amenities. Good free breakfast options. Lovely setting and grounds. Great windows and shades. If only we'd had a view!. Wish we'd had a room with a view of the Hudson
