This place has a seriously creepy vibe, like something out of a horror movie. The decor is straight out of the Bates Motel, and it's clear the owners haven't updated anything in years. It's a shame, really, because the location is decent.

The hotel was a decent place to rest my head, but it had its quirks. The front desk guy was rarely around, which made it a bit tricky to get help when I needed it. The door chain was broken, which wasn't exactly reassuring. On the other hand, the location was pretty good and the room itself was clean. But what really stood out was the creepy old playground in the back - it looked like it belonged in a horror movie.

The hotel's location is a major plus - it's right off the highway, making it super convenient for road trippers like me. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The room had a weird smell that I couldn't quite put my finger on, and it smelled like someone had been smoking in there despite it being a non-smoking room. The flooring was also pretty poorly installed, so every step I took sounded like I was walking on a creaky old house.

I was really glad I chose this place to stay while my house was being fixed over the weekend - the location was perfect for getting around. However, I have to say that my stay was a bit.underwhelming, because, well, everything was just great. I mean, I didn't have any complaints, but at the same time, nothing really stood out as being particularly impressive either. It was just a solid, no-frills experience.

The staff really made my stay, especially the front desk guy who seemed genuinely happy to see me. The room was a great value for the price, but it would've been nice to have a pool and breakfast included.
