The hotel feels cozy and atmospheric in a traditional house; we especially appreciated the staff—every lady at reception was simply excellent, welcoming, kind, and helpful—and the breakfast was good. The only downside was a bed lamp.

The Theatre Hotel is a bit off the famous main street, Shirok Sokak, which gives it a quiet atmosphere, and private parking is just 70 m away. A big plus is the creatively designed courtyard garden—look at the photos. I could sit there for hours and just enjoy it. It isn’t a new fancy hotel, but it has everything you need, including a desk to work from. I had tried to find the hotel before and couldn’t locate it—some GPS systems send you far off the mark, but you receive a text in the morning with a full explanation of the problem, coordinates, and if you can’t get there, they offer to send a car after you. When was the last time you saw such an offer? There isn’t a restaurant on site, but the same text offers to get you whatever you want from their partners. Sitting in the courtyard with your food and enjoying the peace could become an addiction. Klaus Stege I hope they eventually fix their GPS issues; until then we’ll have to use their outside‑city pickup offer.

The location is perfect, the reception staff are excellent, the breakfast is good, the room is clean, and the service is fantastic. The breakfast could have been more varied.

We were double‑charged for the night, then had a problem with the refund, but the hotel staff handled the mistake very professionally and quickly. Mistakes happen to anyone who works. The Theatre is doing great work. Highly recommend this hotel. You’re safe here. We’ll come back again.
