The staff were very friendly, the bed comfortable, the room clean, and the restaurant served, among other things, Thüringer specialties that were tasty and offered good value; thanks to the chef and the reception lady for pleasant conversation, attentive service at dinner and breakfast, and overall excellent service— I felt very comfortable and will surely come back next time. I appreciate the pleasant stay. I have nothing to add.

I felt completely at ease here! Everything was impeccably clean and well maintained. The host was exceptionally warm and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast truly left no room for complaints – varied, delicious, and crafted with great care. The price‑to‑value ratio was outstanding. I’ll gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

I’m giving a perfect 10 for the friendly ladies at Hotel Elxleben; they promptly addressed my small complaint from last week about sweet items for breakfast and even served homemade plum cake. The room was spotless again, and I even got an upgrade to a larger bed. I’m already looking forward to the next stay, hoping to enjoy the dinner again at least once.

The staff were very friendly and everything was clean. Breakfast was good and the value matched the price. Dinner was tasty and affordable, but the restaurant only opens Monday to Wednesday, so on the other days there’s no terrace seating, which was a real disappointment. Breakfast offered something for everyone, though a small sweet item would have been nice.
