Great value for money. First time we had stayed in a capsule. It was a lot more spacious than we thought. Very comfortable. Strong air con in the room and was all very clean and quiet. The bathrooms were very big and had good showers. Close to the jetty. The area wasn’t great but is necessary to stay in for the boat tours.

The price‑to‑quality ratio is decent, and walking to the pier takes about 20 minutes. However, the noise is constant—you can hear neighboring rooms, and people set their alarm clocks to 5 am, letting the bells ring for 10 minutes. The mattress feels uncomfortable, the locks on the ladies’ shower stalls don’t work, and overall cleanliness left something to be desired. Wi‑Fi drops out in the evenings and doesn’t reach the rooms.

A cheap place to stay in Semporna, especially if you’re heading to the islands and only need one night’s lodging. The toilets and bathrooms need a facelift; the upstairs ladies’ washrooms only have standing toilets, so you either have to stand or go downstairs. The staff weren’t particularly friendly but did what they could to keep your deposit safe.
