“Friendly staff, clean shared bathroom and solid value”
Isabel was a real pleasure at breakfast – friendly, chatty and always smiling. The price‑to‑value ratio was great; the only bathroom we shared was with just one other room and it stayed spotless. Breakfast was included, which you don’t often see in Cabo Verde, and although the hotel sits a little away from the centre it’s quiet and far from the usual hustle.
“Warm host, clean shared bathroom”
The host was extremely welcoming and the breakfast we got was tasty enough to start the day. We had to use a shared bathroom, but it was kept very clean, so that wasn’t an issue. All in all a nice, simple stay.
“Decent room, but tiny breakfast and poor taxi help”
The room itself was fine, but the breakfast was almost nothing – just two fried eggs, a couple of toast slices and a tiny cup of coffee, nothing like the fruit, juice and pastries we’re used to. On top of that, the hostess wasn’t helpful with a taxi to the airport; she sent us 500 m away and told us to wait for a cab, which was pretty frustrating.
