Hotel Casa Grande Cancun

Our room was nice, big, very clean and wonderful, with a big comfortable bed, a balcony with 2 lounges, table and chair set, washroom had a big shower and tub with lot of hot water, we enjoyed the meal at the restaurant. Staff was friendly. Be aware there is no staff on site through the night, shuttle bus for pick up from airport did not work out even after booking it ahead. Restaurant does not serve any alcohol (no problem if you know before booking), if you book out before 7am don't look for a go bag for breakfast.

“Location was very poor. Set back from a dusty main road. You need a car.”

On the next morning lady on reception friendlier. One cook in evening was helpful. Lady who did breakfast unfriendly. Location very odd; behind a rusty iron closed gate (at 6pm) and no Hotel Sign. Taxi almost gave up. Lady on reception couldn't be bothered and room no external window. Transport without a car is problematic; taxis will overcharge you to 'No Man's Land' on airport road. With a car would be better.

“Notte con Uragano Beryl”

We ended up staying here because of hurricane Beryl and it was close to Cancun airport. The hotel was almost empty and the staff were really accommodating with our room and meals. They even let us stay in during the hurricane. That being said, the location was convenient for the airport but not so much for walking around - there's just an Oxxo nearby. Also, it would be great if the staff spoke a bit more English.

“Updated, good food, good beds, staff great!”

I had a great stay here, the property was really nice and spacious, and the food was excellent. I'm definitely considering staying here again. One thing that was a bit confusing was that there wasn't a clear entrance to the property - a sign would have been really helpful.
